I grew up on Long Island, New York in a Sicilian-Italian family when all that mattered was the taste of my Nonna Anna’s meatballs. Sunday Sauce and Sinatra were a big part of our family traditions and I still love to play Ol’ Blue Eyes when cooking up meals today!
This passion has led me to the real virgin…extra virgin olive oil!
I spent several months searching for real virgin olive oil and found there is a lot of fraud in the process. I learned that pure EVOO contains polyphenols which are antioxidants that fight against the free radicals that cause cancer. The authenticity is my top priority. Personally, my family has fought and some have lost the battle against cancer, which ignited my passion. With that, Bella D’Oliva was born.
I’m excited for my customers to experience and taste my PURE extra virgin olive oil from Puglia, Italy...the heel of the boot!
By day, I am an executive in the insurance industry working with some of New York City's prominent construction and real estate firms as well as globally in corporate risk management, insurance and surety.
On weekends that I’m not traveling, I’m hanging out with friends, family and my four-legged fur-babies, Biggie and Madison.
